You will need:
350g plan
flour [plus extra for rolling],
1 tsp
bicarbonate soda,
2 tsp ground
ginger,
125g butter,
175g light,
soft, brown sugar,
1 free-range
egg,
4tbp golden
syrup
Writing
icing,
Cake
decorations,
Cutters,
1tsp ground
cinnamom.
Step 1- Thoroughly wash your hands.
Step 2- Now
steadily put the flour, bicarbonate soda, ginger and cinnamon in a bowl, start
to stir.
Step 3-
Thirdly, add the butter and put into a blender [make sure you hold the top
down]. If you do not have a blender use your hands, keep doing it until it
looks like bread crumbs.
Step 4- Slowly
stir in the sugar.
Step 5- Lightly
beat the egg and golden syrup and carefully add it to the mixture [ don’t spill any ].
Mix together until all the clumps are gone.
Step 6- Put
some flour on a surface and tip you mixture on to the surface.
Step 7- Roll
out the dough.
Step 8-
Choose all your cutters and use them [ make the dough into a ball again and
roll out ].
Step 9- Quickly put all your ginger bread in the
oven, at a heat of 180 decrease and set time for 15 minutes.
Step
10- Let them cool for 10 minutes.
Step 11- EAT
