How to

men
You will
need
To decorate
Step 1
Wash your hands Thorley after you done that, stir together the flour of bicarbonate of soda also ginger and

You
will need:
350g
plain flour plus extra for rolling out
1 tsp
bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp
ground ginger
125g
butter
175g
light soft brown sugar
1
free range egg
4 tbsp
golden syrup

This
yummy recipe will serve 4 people and is great for a snack.
1.
Quickly stir together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, ginger and cinnamon.
2.
Slowly add the butter and blend until the mixture looks like bread crumbs.
3. Gently
stir in the sugar.
4.
Lightly beat the egg and golden syrup. add to the mixture and mix clumps
together.
5.
Tip the dough onto a floured surface, need the dough until flat. wrap it in tin
foil and put it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
6.
Carefully choose a cutter and shape them.
7.
Then carefully put it on baking paper and then on a baking tray, put them in
the oven on 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
9.
Let them cool down.
10.
Decorate them how you want using smarties and writing icing.
This
yummy snack is great for parties and weddings.

Gingerbread is delicious; also it
could be given as a present to friends or eaten with a nice cup of tea
You will need
350g plain flour plus extra for
rolling out
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
2tsp ground ginger
1tsp ground cinnamon
125g butter
175g light soft brown sugar
1 free range egg
4tbsp golden syrup

Method:
Remember

1. Gently sieve the flour into a bowl
add the bicarbonate of soda, ginger and cinnamon and stir.
2. Carefully weigh the butter and add to
the mixture. Blend until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
3. Next stir continuously while adding
the brown sugar.
4. Lightly beat the egg and golden syrup
together. Add to the mixture and mix together.
5. Then slowly tip the dough onto a
lightly floured surface. Knead briefly, until smooth wrap in clingfilm and
leave in the fridge for 15mins.
6. Precisely roll the dough on a floured
surface and roll out the dough 0.5cm thick.
7. After take your cutter and put it in
the corner of the dough so you don’t have to keep rolling it out.
8. Carefully press out your shapes and
put it on a baking tray with grease paper on to stop it from sticking.
9. Bake for 12-15mins on 180 degrees
10. Finally let it cool for 10mins then
decorate.
Chef’s tip: These gingerbread taste great with silver spoon white icing
and mini smarties
Gingerbread will be a great snack at a children’s party or finger food at
a wedding or they fit perfectly in a child’s lunchbox.

down]. If you do not have a blender use your hands, keep doing it until it
looks like bread crumbs.
Step 4- Slowly
stir in the sugar.
Step 5- Lightly
beat the egg and golden syrup and carefully add it to the mixture [ don’t spill any ].
Mix together until all the clumps are gone.
Step 6- Put
some flour on a surface and tip you mixture on to the surface.
Step 7- Roll
out the dough.
Step 8-
Choose all your cutters and use them [ make the dough into a ball again and
roll out ].
Step 9- Quickly put all your ginger bread in the
oven, at a heat of 180 decrease and set time for 15 minutes.
Step
10- Let them cool for 10 minutes.
Step 11- EAT
